Shooting Victim Told Police “Billy” Shot Him Before He Died, Detective Testifies
Billy Ray Lewis, convicted on two charges of second-degree murder in 2002, was awarded a new trial in 2013 by the Louisiana Supreme Court. The Court determined that the original judge assigned to the case erred by not allowing a back strike by the defense attorneys to remove a juror.
